Carol Van Zandt
Carol Van Zandt loves to use her signature geometrics and fun florals in her designs for Sandalista Sandals. Everything starts from imagination and drawing!
Based in San Francisco and an exhibiting abstract painter for many years, Carol now creates vibrant and contemporary surface designs for a variety of products. Trained in both the U.S. and Asia, she holds a BA in Studio Art from Boston College and studied further at Massachusetts College of Art and Rhode Island School of Design.
Carol’s specialties include contemporary designs inspired by Japanese and Asian art, influenced by the seven years she lived and studied art in Japan and Taiwan.
Carol trained and is certified in surface and textile design at The California School of Professional Fabric Design in Berkeley, California, where she is now a workshop instructor.
She has had numerous solo and group shows in America, Japan, and Taiwan. Her fine art is in private collections in over 15 countries in Europe, Asia and America.

The image colors you see on your monitor may differ from the actual sandals. We'll be as accurate as we can be, but monitors vary in age, calibration and colors represented. Some colors, we just can't produce yet, like fluorescents.
The image positioning may vary slightly from monitor to sandal. We need a little bit of the image to be in the "no print zone" so we don't have any gaps on the edges. Try to keep the important parts of your image away from the sandal edges.
