Peter Horjus
Peter Horjus is a graphic designer/illustrator working in pen & ink and mixed media in a variety of themes like Retro Sports, 60s Swanky, 70s Groovy, Shaggy Chic Dogs, Lodge, Cycling and Girl Power. His designs are applied to fabric, housewares, wall art, gift bags, iphone skins... and now sandals!
His inspiration sparks from fashion found at art gallery openings to art found at old hardware stores and flea markets –– basically any ephemeral piece that embodies charm and style. He received a bachelor of arts degree in fine arts from Point Loma College in San Diego.
He enjoys running, swimming, snow-boarding and hiking. He works on his art in a 100 year-old house, which he fondly calls "The Treehouse" because it's perched high in the canopy of two huge oak trees in Santa Barbara, California, USA.
Where do you create your art?
I do my day-dreaming, concept work and doodles at local coffee shops.

Friesland, Holland –– homeland of my mother and father.
