Heather Ritts
Step into my imagination through bright colors and surreal images. You will find I draw my inspiration from travel, the figure, plants, and creatures from the sea. I live and surf in Southern California where my passion for art and the ocean led me to painting surfboards at an early age. Along the way I have hand-painted several surfboards and fins, dipped into watercolors, oils, and card designs. I hope to capture the simple beauty of the sea and that you enjoy my wonderland of exotic flowers, sunshine, and shades of blue.

What inspires you?
Finding the beauty in my surroundings and the unexpected colors and textures of coral and sea life.

What is something unexpected about yourself?
A lot of artist's have messy studios and I am the exact opposite. I have to have a clean studio and be organized in order to get my paint on!

What are your favorite pair of shoes?
I'm not a shoe person, usually I am barefoot or I'm wearing sandals!
